Overview
  • The Emerging Peacemakers Forum (EPF) is an international platform that brings together youth from diverse beliefs, backgrounds, and nationalities with the shared mission of fostering dialogue and building peace. Founded through East-West dialogues initiated by His Eminence Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, EPF aims to bridge cultural and religious divides by encouraging open, cooperative discussions. Since its inaugural event in Cambridge, UK, in 2018, EPF has empowered young peacemakers from around the world through training and collaborative initiatives.
  • The purpose of this project was to design and develop an informative website for the Emerging Peacemakers Forum to communicate its mission, history, and impact on a global scale. The website serves as a central platform for current and prospective members, partners, and supporters, providing information on EPF’s events, training programs, and community-building efforts aimed at fostering dialogue and peace.
Scope Of Work :
Discovery & Research

Working closely with the EPF team, we identified key content areas that would best represent the Forum’s mission and values. This phase involved understanding EPF’s unique position as a peace-building platform and gathering insights into their audience of young peace advocates.

Content Structuring & Design

Our content and design teams crafted a layout that emphasizes EPF’s history, core activities, and global community. Visuals were chosen to convey diversity and inclusivity, aligning with EPF’s goal of creating an open, welcoming environment for dialogue.

Development & Integration of Interactive Features

The website was developed with sections for event announcements, registration, and resources, as well as a blog for updates and community stories. We integrated an interactive feature for prospective participants to learn more about past events and trainings, creating a comprehensive experience for site visitors.

Testing & Launch

After thorough testing for accessibility, multilingual support, and responsiveness, we launched the website. The final platform supports EPF’s mission by providing a central hub for communication, event promotion, and community-building among young peace advocates.

Responsive Design:
  • Ensured that the design is fully responsive, providing a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Emphasized accessibility and inclusivity in the design to cater to all users.
User Testing:
  • Conducted usability tests with real users to gather feedback on the design’s functionality and ease of use.
  • Made necessary adjustments based on the insights gathered to optimize the user experience.
Outcomes :
  • Global Reach: Extend EPF’s visibility and reach by providing an accessible, informative platform for its international community of young peace advocates.
  • Community Engagement: Foster deeper engagement with EPF’s audience through updates, interactive event information, and opportunities for involvement.
  • Mission Representation: Reflect EPF’s commitment to cross-cultural dialogue and peace-building through a welcoming, user-friendly design.
